Shinryu-ken was/is the beat based project of Tristan and Scott (from Piasa) and Jon (from Cash Slave Clique). When distributed in Senegal, certain people provided feedback saying that it was "mystic" while others thought it was complete garbage... mission accomplished. | image coming soon |

This was my first compilation CDr, and was a learning experience due to some fuckups in the production process. Since then, the CDr has been revised and redistributed with all the money going to breast cancer research. Corpus Callosum is Doug Stailey (also in Field Shaman and Sansyou) on amplified cello and Scott Nussman on distorted, analog synth. On this split, Corpus Callosum focused on the Alpha Range of 9-13 htz, known to enduce a state of meditation often associated with calm, lucid mental states. The tracks are appropriately titled "Alpha1," "Alpha2," and "Alpha3."
