The 20 Buck Spin Festival III is being organized for Halloween Weekend of 2008 by Scott Verrastro / Clavius Productions, Scott Nussman / Detournemont Productions, and James Haun / www.olscratch.com. The festival will have a focus on the local MD/DC doom scene as it has in years past with bands from the Pentagram family. The reason from the two year hiatus of the festival stemmed from both Scott Verrastro and I focusing our energies on musical projects and me being in college. This year's festival will also feature East Coast doom and stoner rock favorites that are TBA as well as some slots for some touring faves. After the festival, we plan on showing projected versions of classic slasher and giallo movies. So, mark your calendars! DC is gonna be the place to be for Halloween weekend this year!! |
